Around Noon Newry are now hiring Management Accountant on a fulltime permanent basis. This is an exciting time to join the team with opportunities to contribute to the overall business and gain experience in a busy and commercially focused business.

This role reports directly to the Group Financial Controller.

The purpose of this role the Management Accountant ensures timely preparation of monthly management accounts throughout the group including balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

·       Assist with preparation of group management accounts, year–end accounts and board reports.

·       Monitoring spending and recommending ways to reduce costs and increase profit.

·       Assist with Group Payroll when required.

·       Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

·       Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting activities.

·       Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies

·       Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.

·       Production and distribution of financial KPIs.

Personal Specification:

·       Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices

·       Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide accurate insights

·       Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

·       Strong problem–solving and decision–making abilities

·       Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

·       Team player, with a good sense of humour.

Qualifications Requirement:

·       ACA, CIMA or ACCA Part or newly qualified.

·       Excellent knowledge of IFRS.

·       Proficient in Sage 200 – desirable.

·       Minimum of 2 years’ experience preparing management accounts to strict deadlines.
